About St. Agnes
Feast Day: January 21
Patron of: Engaged couples, victims of sexual abuse, and gardeners
St. Agnes was a young Roman martyr who remained pure and faithful to Christ despite intense persecution. At just 12 or 13 years old, she refused marriage to stay devoted to Jesus, ultimately giving her life for her faith. Her name, meaning “lamb,” reflects both her purity and her sacrificial love. St. Agnes inspires courage, conviction, and deep trust in God at every age.
