In 1859, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Adele Brise in Champion, Wisconsin. This is the first—and only—approved Marian apparition in the United States. Our Lady encouraged Adele to teach the faith to children and to pray for the conversion of sinners. Her message continues to inspire Catholics today, offering hope and guidance through her motherly care.
